Our team is accepting expressions of interest from dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for technology and a proven track record in system administration to join our team as a Senior Technician (LAN). Assignments will vary, but will generally include the following responsibilities:

  • Proven brownfield/greenfield campus LAN deployment experience;
  • Experience in Identity Management: Dot1X, ISE, Radius, TACACS+, PKI
  • Experience with Core campus related technologies: STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), SNMP (Simple Network Management protocol), ACL (Access Control Lists), QoS (Quality of Service), LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol), LAG (Link Aggregation Group), VSS / Stackwise virtual, IPV6 (Internet Protocol version 6) network technologies and concepts;
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g. HP Network Automation, Splunk, Spectrum, What’s Up Gold);
  • Knowledge of routing and IP protocols: OSPF, BGP, IPv6, multicast;
  • Understanding of Firewall, Intrusion Detection System, IPSec (Internet Protocol Security), VPN (Virtual Private Network) technologies and concepts;
  • Level of knowledge shall be equal or higher than Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA);
  • Supporting physical task requirements with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

The role is dynamic and involves collaboration across different physical locations and multiple time zones and supports client tasks and objectives.

$50,000 – $85,000

Education:
Higher vocational or secondary training with 2 years role-related experience. The lack of training degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or at least 4 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post.
