About the role
Our team is seeking a Journeyman Cooperative Foreign Military Sales Analyst focused on a security cooperation program with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Airborne Electronic Attack Program Office to help drive solutions and take initiative when problem-solving. This role is on remote.
Assignments will vary, but will generally include the following responsibilities:
- FMS Program Execution – Support Case Managers and Program Managers in planning, executing, and tracking all phases of Foreign Military Sales programs. Ensure that case activities comply with AECA, ITAR, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and relevant DoD policy.
- LOA & Agreement Review – Prepare, coordinate, and perform technical and compliance reviews of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), amendments, and modifications. Ensure all agreements meet contractual, policy, and procedural standards before submission for approval.
- Case Monitoring & Reporting – Track case execution against approved timelines, budgets, and performance measures. Identify issues affecting cost, schedule, or performance and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Establish and maintain working relationships with U.S. Government agencies, foreign customers, OEMs, and Security Cooperation stakeholders to facilitate timely issue resolution and requirement clarification.
- Business Case & Cost Analysis – Conduct analyses to support decision-making for FMS case adjustments, amendments, or new agreements, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Data & Configuration Management – Maintain accurate, current program and case documentation in Government-approved systems, ensuring proper configuration control and version tracking.
- Training & Guidance – Provide guidance to program teams and stakeholders on FMS processes, documentation requirements, and compliance best practices.
- Continuous Improvement – Recommend procedural enhancements to streamline FMS case processing, documentation control, and coordination activities.
The role is dynamic and involves collaboration across different physical locations and multiple time zones and supports client tasks and objectives.
Our ideal candidate is someone who:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, International Relations, or related discipline.
- 3-10 years’ experience performing in US DoD FMS or Defense Security Assistance Programs.
- Values autonomy and naturally takes ownership.
- Displays initiative and has exceptional attention to detail.
- Is an effective communicator and demonstrates a willingness to work collaboratively.
- Has a strong work ethic and always displays integrity and professionalism.
