About the role

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an organized, tech-savvy individual to join our team supporting defense aerospace operations — no prior defense experience required . Assignments will vary, but will include the following responsibilities:

  • Technical & Administrative Proficiency – Utilize Microsoft Office 365 Suite, collaboration platforms, and document management systems to support daily operations, reporting, recordkeeping, and coordination activities. Maintain organized digital records, assist with document control processes, and support efficient information management practices.
  • Computer Literacy – Demonstrate strong general computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes with minimal supervision.
  • Facility Coordination – Support client on-site as central point of contact for all facility-related inquiries and requests, including facility maintenance, procurement, and services provided. No facilities background is required – strong organizational skills and follow-through are what matter.
  • ICT Support – Support client on-site as central point of contact for network, infrastructure, software, and equipment inquiries. This is a coordination and triage role – general tech-savviness and a willingness to learn are more important than formal ICT qualifications.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure work is completed consistently and to a professional standard by following established PAC procedures and on-site instructions. This includes accurate recordkeeping, use of approved document templates, and professional written communication. No formal quality qualifications required.
  • Travel – Local and interstate travel in support of this position. Occasional travel is may be required; interstate travel is infrequent.

This is an office-based role supported by a local team, with training and guidance available on the ground. The broader PAC team operates across multiple locations and time zones, and your on-site presence is key to supporting colleagues whose remote access to certain systems is limited.

  • Demonstrates strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software tools, and confidence working across Microsoft Office 365, collaboration tools, shared drives, and document management systems.
  • Displays exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Is an effective communicator and demonstrates a willingness to work collaboratively.
  • Is adaptable and willing to learn new technologies, processes, and operational requirements.
  • Is able to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Has a strong work ethic and always displays integrity and professionalism.
  • Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a US or Australia Secret security clearance – preferred but not essential.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, proactively addressing challenges, and demonstrates initiative in resolving independently before escalating when appropriate.
