About the role
Our team is seeking a Director of US Government Programs focused on Aerospace Acquisition and Sustainment Services to help drive new business and creative solutions. Assignments will vary, but will include the following responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership – Provide strategic leadership by drafting and executing annual plans that align with corporate objectives, effectively managing team members, fostering PAC’s corporate culture, monitoring service quality, resolving issues, and reporting to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Business Development – Drive acquisition of new contracts in PAC’s core capabilities and lead new business opportunity developments into cohesive proposals and/or plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional decision-making abilities, implementing and refining communication plans, and negotiating contracts on behalf of PAC.
- Specialist Expertise – Offer specialist knowledge and ensure the highest quality support to technical staff while providing authoritative technical advice to third parties representing PAC and/or the customer.
- Operational Compliance – Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure daily operations meet corporate compliance standards, efficiently plan and allocate resources, forecast and meet cash-flow targets, provide high-quality advice and reports to leadership, support International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance, and maintain client security requirements.
- Staff Welfare and Development – Promote staff welfare and uphold PAC’s corporate culture by managing recruitment efforts, preparing evaluations, monitoring leave liabilities, resolving HR issues, administering professional development, overseeing staff professionalism and integrity, and evaluating future project needs.
- Travel – Local and interstate travel in support of this position. May be required to travel internationally. Travel is expected up to 20-30% of the time.
This role is dynamic and involves collaboration across different physical locations and multiple time zones and supports client tasks and objectives as well as corporate needs.
