Partnership Will Enhance Simulator Qualification Training

San Diego, CA – Pacific Aerospace Consulting Inc. (PAC) and Fiji Airways are pleased to announce the availability of Methods of Simulation courseware from Q1 2022. Based on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Simulator Qualification Courseware, this course delves into regulatory requirements and expectations under the National Simulator Program (NSP) using a combination of classroom and hands-on learning.

Fiji Airways will host the course at its brand new state-of-the-art aviation academy located in beautiful Nadi, Fiji. For the first time, customers will have access to PAC instructors with over 55 years’ combined experience in this world-class facility. Our instructor’s unique knowledge and perspective of the FAA National Simulator Program, combined with real-world operations across varied aircraft and missions, ensures a truly insightful learning experience.  Students will build confidence in aircraft simulator systems, test and evaluation, regulatory frameworks and ultimately what to expect during initial and ongoing device qualification audits.

The course will run for five days and includes:

• A basic introduction to:
  • the complexities of flight simulation
  • control loading/motion systems and visual systems
  • international standards
  • FAA Part 60
  • Subjective Evaluation methods
  • data sources
  • flight testing methods
• Twelve (12) hours hands-on lab training in a Level D Simulator

Prices are available upon request, and include:

• Six (6) nights’ accommodation at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa
• Daily shuttle to/from the academy
• CONUS return flights aboard Fiji Airways (LAX or SFA)
