It’s an exciting time at Pacific Aerospace Consulting, as PAC employees were recently awarded a Gold Level Group Commendation for their service to the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) for the Commonwealth of Australia. These awards were for outstanding service to the AIR7000 Phase 2B (P8-A POSEIDON) Project Office.
PAC has supported the AIR7000 program since late 2016, providing program management services and systems engineering support to the CASG throughout its development and acquisition of the UNIPAC III system. Our personnel act as an in-country liaison for the CASG, interfacing with both the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the UNIPAC III and the Joint Program Office (JPO) within the United States Navy to ensure CASG requirements are met. Conversely, PAC personnel are also able to help the AIR7000 Project Office glean greater insight into USN program management practices.
Three PAC personnel were awarded personal letters of commendation from CASG, as well as a commendation set of insignia. The letter specifically commends “outstanding performance in project management, teamwork, and technical mastery”, and that we have “displayed a dedication to service in the highest order.”
We are humbled and honored to have received such recognition from our customer and partners in CASG, and look forward to continuing our long history of support to the AIR7000 Phase 2B Project Office.
